The HRU ECO 150 MVHR system is ideal where space – and budgets – are tight. Its specific fan power (SFP) of just 0.37 W/l/s led to the creation of a new 0.4W/l/s or less category within SAP Appendix Q. Ideal for homes with up to 115sq mt floor area, HRU ECO 150 is also EST Best Practice compliant for dwellings with up to five wet rooms.
It removes contaminated, wet air from kitchens, utility rooms and bathrooms and provides fresh, pre-heated air to other areas of the home. The unit can be laid on its back in a loft or fixed to walls or ceilings with a unique bracket, which can be supplied to site in advance to assist with first fixing of duct connections and increased site security. Fitting the HRU ECO 150 is simplicity itself, thanks to the 125mm easy fit spigots and rubber seals supplied in the Duct Connection Kit. Furthermore, the filters are easily accessible from the front of the unit and no tools are needed for the annual maintenance check.
The HRU ECO 150 has an automatic frost protection device which switches off the unit for a short period when low temperatures are detected, automatically checking and switching back on when it is safe to do so.
